The Non-Profit Advisory Council of the San Diego Business Chamber serves as a unifying and influential voice for the non-profit sector, working to strengthen the capacity, visibility, and sustainability of non-profit organizations throughout the region. Comprised of leaders from diverse non-profit organizations, the Council fosters collaboration between the business and non-profit communities to drive meaningful change.
Through education, the Council provides non-profit professionals with tools, training, and insights to navigate challenges, build leadership, and increase operational effectiveness. Through engagement, it creates opportunities for connection, shared learning, and collective problem-solving that amplify the sector’s ability to serve. And through strategic advocacy, the Council works to shape policies and initiatives that support non-profit resilience and innovation.
By bringing together mission-driven organizations and community stakeholders, the Council empowers its members to address the region’s most pressing social, economic, and environmental issues—elevating the role of nonprofits as essential partners in building a thriving, inclusive, and resilient San Diego.
All Chamber Members and their employees are invited to join the meetings and participate in the discussion. Our Non-Profit Advisory Council will be moving to a quarterly Lunch N Learn workshop, our next one will be Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 at 11am. Location TBD.
