Health is a priority for San Diego Business Chamber as it plays an important role in shaping the region’s economy. The Health Advisory Council strives to be the catalyst that connects business and health.
The Council works with topic experts, public authorities, community leaders, Chamber Members, and other organizations to educate San Diego businesses about regional health care issues that impact their bottom line and workforce productivity.
Key areas of focus include mental health and wellness, aging and caregiving resources, workplace health and safety, access to care, health equity, and the intersection of sustainability and health. The Council also explores emerging trends in healthcare innovation and public health preparedness.
Advisory Council Members are responsible for discussing and deciding, by vote, the goals, activities, and strategies that the Chamber uses to deliver up-to-date, health-related information to enhance the quality of life for San Diegans.
All Chamber Members and their employees are invited to join the meetings and participate in the discussion. We will meet online throughout the year during quarterly sessions. Stay tuned for our next meeting!
