Do I need AI expertise or an in-house technical team?
No. Applicants should explain the business challenge and desired outcome in clear, nontechnical language. Futran Solutions and AWS provide the technical perspective.
Is there a cost to submit a pitch?
No. There is no cost to apply. Attendance at the San Diego Military Summit requires an event ticket.
Is the award a cash prize?
No. Awards are AI development funding applied directly toward eligible solution design and development services provided by Futran Solutions on AWS.
What happens after I submit?
Submissions are reviewed for business need, impact, practicality, AWS feasibility, and readiness. Applicants selected for the live round will be notified on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Should I attend if I am not selected as a finalist?
Yes. Everyone who submits is encouraged to attend the San Diego Military Summit, support the live presenters, and see the winners announced. A Summit ticket is required.
